Google Lets Businesses Post Offers to Organic Search Results

Google has been trying a new feature for a long time and it seems that it has already started working on the search results. The new feature is going to allow Google My Business pages to publish the offers directly to search results.

This new feature is built into Google posts and it is now available to all businesses that have a verified GMB profile. The Google posts let the businesses publish certain short messages that appear in search results, maps etc. when the business name is searched for. Till now, the messages were confined to plain text, events or multimedia but from now, onwards the offer can include the following:

  • Photos
  • Text up to 300 words
  • A unique title to the post
  • Offer start date/time and end date/time
  • Any coupon code
  • Links to the offer.

By getting this feature, businesses are surely going to be happy as they have a new chance to market themselves on their website. Frankl, Google has made things easier for the businesses and even the SEO companies in town. These offers can be put free and it is true that they will not show as often as paid ads but this is a good chance for the businesses to push their sales.

For now, the feature still seems in the testing stage, as not all of them are able to utilize it.

With a team of highly experienced digital marketers, we have developed some of the best results driven campaigns for all size agencies and businesses.
